At 2nomads, we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains, in simple terms, what data we collect, which tools we use, and how we use it.

1. Contact form and call booking

When you fill in our contact form or book a call on the website, we collect the information you enter (your name, email address, the content of your message and, for a meeting, the time slot you choose). This data is stored in our HubSpot CRM.

Why? So we can respond to your enquiry, organise the call and discuss your needs with you.
Legal basis: Our legitimate interest in responding to your request and telling you about our services. No checkbox is required: a notice below the form informs you of this before you submit it. You can object to this processing or unsubscribe at any time, via the link in each of our emails or by writing to us.
Retention period: We keep this information for a maximum of 3 years after our last business exchange, after which it is deleted.

2. Cookies and analytics

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, decline or customise non-essential cookies. No analytics cookie is set until you give your consent. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie button at the bottom left of the screen.

Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager)

What data? Pages viewed, visit duration, traffic source, device type, approximate location and a random identifier stored in a cookie. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. This information is nevertheless personal data under the GDPR.
Why? To understand how our website is used, so we can improve the experience and measure how well our content performs.
Legal basis: Your consent. If you decline, no Google Analytics cookie is set; Google may only receive technical signals without cookies or identifiers, used for aggregate statistics.
Retention period: 14 months maximum.

HubSpot

Which services? The contact form, the meeting booking tool and the website chat are provided by HubSpot.
Browsing tracking: Only if you accept analytics cookies, HubSpot records the pages you visit (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc cookies) in order to link your visits to a possible contact request.
Cookie retention: 6 months maximum.

3. Sharing and transferring your data

We do not sell, rent or share any of your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only processed by the providers required for the website to function, acting as processors:

HubSpot, Inc. (CRM, forms, meetings, chat): data hosted in a data centre located in the European Union.
Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager): visit statistics.

Both companies are based in the United States and participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which governs any transfer outside the European Union.

4. Your rights over your data

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right to access and review your data.
Right to have your data amended or corrected.
Right to complete erasure (right to be forgotten).
Right to object to and restrict processing.
Right to withdraw your consent at any time, including via the website's cookie button.

To exercise any of these rights, simply send us an email at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
